"Hey Bruce, look at this stray," Tony said, giving her a push in Bruce's direction. Said man glanced up at her. He waved hello.
"It's nice to meet you," he said. She nodded, sticking out her hand.
"Figured it out yet?" Tony asked excitedly. __________ let her head drop.
"What?" Bruce asked quizzically. "She seems perfectly fine."
"Ask her her name," Tony encouraged. __________ looked up at him, her eyes begging for him to stop.
"What's your name?" Bruce asked, his eyes gentle.
__________ shook her head. She pointed to her mouth. Bruce's eyes widened.
"Why would you do that to her?" he shouted.
"Because I wanted to have a little fun, that's all. But she's really cool. Her name's ________. She's hot." Tony laughed. "She's ridiculously smart. Give her some stuff. Watch."
Bruce handed her a small wrench and some other tools from his workbench. She smiled appreciatively and set to work.
In no time she had made a little mouse, it's little metal body racing around.
"Now watch this. This is where the shit gets cool," Tony said, kneeling down to the mouse. ________ picked up the metal toy, and breathed life into it, literally. A little mouse appeared in her palm, cleaning it's face, and squeaking.
Bruce eyed the creature with an uncertainty and caution. He reached out hesitantly. He brushed his fingers across it's warm fur, barely touching it.
"It's real," he breathed in awe.
"Yeah, and it works on people too. You guys would be a perfect match!" Tony laughed. His words struck pain into Bruce's heart, but he didn't say anything.
_________ was confused. She looked up at Tony with arched eyebrows.
"He's a mean, green killing machine," the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist explained. "Here's your file. You might want to know about this stuff if you're going to work with him."
Bruce balled his fists, but held his tongue. ___________ was excellent at reading emotions, and she knew the direction this was heading in. She reached up and stroked his arm, giving him a small smile.
Bruce sighed, unclenching his hands, nodding. She glared at Tony.
"If I could read your thoughts, I'd probably be in a shitload of trouble. I can tell from your face," Tony said. "So I better be out. Hey, there's a dry erase board on the wall over there, if you want to talk. Thor has already taken quite an interest in you. He likes that you communicate with your face, not your words. I think it's not to shabby myself, for a debilitated thing like yourself."
"That's pushing it, Tony," Bruce muttered, taking ________'s hand. She tucked the mouse into her pocket. He helped her to stand, all the while scowling at the Iron Man. _________ nodded, smiling at Bruce.
She walked over to the board and wrote Thanks in elegant letters, dainty and perfect.
Bruce smiled. "It's alright."
"I'll leave you freaks alone," Tony grinned. "I'll be lounging on my two million dollar couch."
"Bye, Tony," Bruce said, obviously chagrined. They were left alone.
Who are you, other than Bruce Banner? I want to know what your superpower is. After all, I am working with you. Her expectant expression was innocent and her intentions were pure, but the words made Bruce frown.
"Well, I kind of become something else. A monster. I'm no superhero. So please, just try not to stay too close, alright?" he sighed.
You? A monster? I would laugh at you, but I really can't. Besides, I don't die, so even if you tried to kill me, you'd be unsuccessful.
"That's good to know," Bruce said bitterly, turning back to his work. She walked over, putting her hand on his shoulder. He tensed, but she didn't move away. Bruce relaxed; she smelled like lavender. She slipped a piece of paper from the printer beside Bruce, writing in flowing black ink.
Bruce, do you not like to be touched?.
"Not really." She gave him one more small smile.
I touch people a lot to get my message across. It's kind of how I talk. It's also nice to have someone else beside you, holding your hand, or brushing your arm. You don't like that? That reassurance that there's always someone there?
"No one is ever there, _________." Bruce's lips curved into a wry smile.
I am.
"You'd stick with me, really? Even if I lose it, try to kill you, you'll be here?" Bruce asked rhetorically.
Certainly. You can't scare me off that easily, you know. It was another of those smiles. Those wonderful, pure, sweet twinkles. Bruce couldn't help but smile back.
"Thanks," he murmured. "Thanks a lot."

Everyone knew who Bruce Banner was, whether they loved him, feared him, or pitied him. Everyone knew of the radiation leak and the accident that gave him his other personality. But what no one knew was that he wasn’t the only one.
You had been there when it all went down. You had been exposed for too long as well. That much radiation poisoning should have killed you.
But it didn’t.
Instead, it gave you the same symptoms as it had given the doctor. You had another personality too, complete with

"(Y/n), your starving yourself." You heard Bruce's overly concerned voice say.
"I'm fine. This needs to get done." You mumbled out, waving away the food away. Bruce pressed his hand against your rib cage gently.
"I can feel your ribs through your shirt, (y/n)." He said.
"Go asked Tony." You mumbled, not fully comprehending what he said. You felt his hand on your back.
"You haven't slept in days, (y/n)!" You looked at him.
"Bruce."
"Yes?"
"I would be lying if I said that the future of the human race did not depend on this getting done." You turned back to your computer scr

"Damn you Tony" Bruce said as he sigh.
A little reminder of what was going on, about 3 weeks ago, Tony found out about a program called Sherlock, according to him because he was the genius, our dear and favorite doctor would be the perfect Dr. John Watson, of course, Tony would be Sherlock. But back to Bruce, Tony had done everything possible to build him a 'proper' office where he would be an excellent doctor.
Who knows how he managed to convinced Bruce to accept it, possibly it was his charm, or the simple fact that promised to leave him alone for a full week.
"A week without you Tony is n
